Fine Dine Aurum – brown Vitrified restaurant porcelain (25)
Fine Dine Aurum is a brown catering porcelain from the Colours of the Earth collection, characterised by its warm, organic colour palette and unique finish. A deep dark brown with patina-like and slightly rusty tonal transitions creates an effect inspired by natural minerals, earth and surfaces that change over time.
The collection is made from vitrified porcelain, designed for intensive use in the professional catering sector. Aurum belongs to the Fine Dine Kolory Ziemi family, alongside the Stark, Eminence, Constancy, Rosa and Edenic ranges. Individual colours can be combined to create a multi-coloured, bespoke tableware set for restaurants and hotels.
Fine Dine Aurum brown catering porcelain
Aurum is distinguished by its dark, warm shade of brown. The colour is not uniform – the surface features subtle transitions from deep browns to warmer, patina-like and rusty tones. This gives the tableware a natural, handcrafted character.
The brown porcelain provides a striking backdrop for light-coloured sauces, green vegetables, meat, fish, bread and desserts. It is also well-suited to cuisine inspired by nature, seasonality and regional produce.
Reactive glaze – every piece in the Aurum collection is unique
The collection’s distinctive appearance is achieved through the use of reactive glaze. The firing process results in natural variations in shade, colour intensity and surface details, which is why every plate, bowl or mug may look slightly different.
These variations are an intentional design feature. It is precisely the irregularity of the glaze that gives the Aurum collection its organic and individual character.
Vitrified porcelain for intensive catering use
Fine Dine Aurum is made from vitrified porcelain. A carefully selected composition of mineral raw materials and the firing process ensure high material density and properties suitable for professional use.
The porcelain is fired twice – initially at a temperature of around 800°C, and then at around 1320°C. This process combines the durability required in the catering industry with the decorative effect of reactive glaze.
Aurum plates and bowls for creative plating
The collection includes a variety of shapes designed for different stages of service. Flat and presentation plates provide scope for modern plating, deep plates are ideal for pasta, risotto and dishes with sauce, whilst bowls and smaller dishes can be used for side dishes, snacks and dips.
Aurum for coffee and tea too
A cohesive tableware set can also be extended to hot drinks. The collection is complemented by espresso and cappuccino cups, mugs, saucers, a sugar bowl and a teapot, ensuring that Aurum’s distinctive brown hue accompanies the entire dining experience.
Colours of the Earth – combine Aurum with other colours
Aurum is one of the lines in the Fine Dine Colours of the Earth collection. The dark brown can be paired with Stark grey and the other colours: Eminence, Constancy, Rosa and Edenic.
Combining several collections allows you to create your own tableware compositions – from a subtle pairing of two colours to a more free-spirited mix, where different dishes are presented individually.
Stackable porcelain for professional kitchens
Selected items in the collection are stackable, making it easier to store a larger number of pieces in a limited space. This is particularly practical in restaurants and hotels, where efficient organisation of the back-of-house area affects the pace of daily service.
Suitable for commercial dishwashers and microwaves
Items marked with the relevant symbols are suitable for washing in commercial dishwashers and for use in microwave ovens. The porcelain’s declared temperature resistance is up to 180°C.
Guarantee against chipped rims
Selected products from the collection are covered by a warranty against chipped rims during normal catering use. Shallow plates without a rim come with a lifetime warranty against chipped rims, whilst selected other items may be covered by a 10-year warranty.
Choose Fine Dine Aurum brown porcelain if you are looking for professional tableware with a warm, organic and unique character. Vitrified porcelain, reactive glaze and a dark brown colour scheme with patina effects create a striking backdrop for a modern restaurant service.
