The Seasons collection, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, emphasizes the beauty of imperfection and the natural passage of time. Reactive glaze is used in the production process, giving each product an individual character and a unique visual effect. Thanks to the hand-decorated edges, each item in the collection is unique. The Sand line is distinguished by its beige color, which blends harmoniously with the other shades in the collection to create a coherent and elegant whole.
Porland is the first and only manufacturer to use a special formula with an exceptionally high aluminum oxide content in the porcelain manufacturing process. As a result, Alumilite porcelain combines the durability of hard porcelain with the warm, creamy color of soft porcelain. Porland products are distinguished by their high mechanical strength and surface resistance, while maintaining transparency and elegance. The quality is confirmed by a lifetime warranty against chipping of the edges of flat plates (shallow plates, coupe plates, pizza plates, saucers), which makes Porland porcelain a reliable choice for professionals.
**Each piece of tableware is unique**
Natural dyes, iron oxides, and artisanal techniques are used to color the products in the Seasons Sand collection. This process means that each piece may react differently during firing and glazing, leading to differences in texture, tone, and color. These are not defects, but characteristics resulting from handcrafted production and the use of natural materials. Zirconium is added to the glaze mixture to achieve the desired color tone and increase the hardness of the glaze surface. Due to this increased hardness, marks may appear when using metal cutlery such as forks or knives. This does not indicate a reduction in product quality, but is related to the technical properties of porcelain. These marks can be removed every six months on average using a suitable porcelain surface cleaner.
